Section 78 Coronavirus Act 2020 has given the Secretary of State the powers that the Government can remove the need for the Annual Meeting of Parish Council and allow “virtual” meetings. The power to create regulations lasts until May 2021.

As a Parish Council we are looking to make our decision making as open as possible during these difficult times.

Residents of Easton on the Parish Roll as rights of audience during public participation sections of the meeting.

You can take part in our Parish Council meetings in a number of ways:

  1. Using Zoom to take part in meeting.
  2. Ask a question by email
  3. View meeting live on YouTube

Complete the form opposite if you wish to use option 1 or 2.

If you choose option 1 you will be sent a link with a password so that you can log on to the meeting and ask questions in person. You must request access by 3pm on the day of the meeting.

If you choose option 2 your question will be read out at the meeting and you will receive a written response. You will be able to view the meeting via the YouTube link.
