Cllr Peter Milliken

Peter is a decorated war veteran, and retired teacher. He is passionate about disability rights and protecting our village from over development. He has lived in the village for over 22 years and has watched his 4 children grow up and flourish in our village.

Peter has worked all over the world and tries to use his experience to help others, he cares greatly about the environment and wants to make sure everything possible is done to protect the local wildlife, trees and hedge rows from the developers bulldozers.

He has a lasting belief in democracy and the rights of the people to have a say in how they are governed at local level. Peter is looking forward during his term in office to help and support the village in the difficult decisions that need to be made in the years ahead.

Cllr Jan Hudson

Jan retired from her job in the public sector and is keen to continue to support the needs of the local community. Jan is a volunteer with the community car scheme and was a member of the Easton Neighbourhood planning committee. Jan is currently vice chair of the parish council and a member of the finance team utilizing her skills she developed working in the public sector for South Norfolk Council.

Jan cares deeply about the local community and environment and is looking to give positive input into our community by serving as a parish councillor.

Cllr Clare Chisholm

Clare is an NHS Occupational Therapist and is married with two children.  Her professional experiences and new family life have made her determined to ensure Easton is a happy and safe place to live. Clare will be utilizing her previously gained skills as our communications officer and will play a leading role in developing a variety of means of communications to involve as many residents of Easton as is possible.

Cllr Jonathan Bailey

Jonathan would encourage residents to have their say with a view to   maintaining their own, family and village interests.

Jonathan is very passionate about protecting our village for further generations and Chaired the steering group that produced the Neighbourhood plan.

Jonathan will be chairing the planning consultation group to make sure all new planning applications and hopes that local residents will want to be part of this influential planning group which will help shape the future growth of our village.

Cllr Mark Cordy

Mark has lived in the village for many years and has served on the parish council for a number of years. Mark cares deeply about the future shape of Easton and is keen to see any expansion of the village to be controlled. Mark served as a member of the Neighbourhood Planning committee and is currently a member of the Finance group.

Mark is activity involved in the maintenance of the village making sure all repairs to parish owned equipment is completed in a timely manner. He also works with Mike Jobling to ensure our grass cutting and maintenance contracts are carried out to our specification.

Mark has lived in Easton almost all his life and now lives here with his wife and two children and runs his own business.

Mark feels Easton is facing some of its biggest decisions to date and it is important everyone’s voice is heard in making those decisions.  He is passionate about improvements to community facilities and infrastructure as well as working to protect its rural feel.

He also feels the young people of Easton need representation in the changes that will be affecting them in the future.

Mike has lived in Easton for 3½ years with his wife Bernice.

Mike will endeavor to maintain the community spirit of village life. Mike has been tasked with utilising his skills as a manager to ensure that our village is managed and maintained to a high standard.
